Welcome
The First-time Principals Programme is an eighteen month induction
programme with an annual intake of participants. It is designed
to provide new principals of all school types with the knowledge,
skills and capabilities required for their successful school leadership.
The induction programme is designed to meet both the overall and
individual needs of new principals, and to help them develop professionally
and personally. In meeting these needs, the principals will be active
role models for teachers in their schools to improve and strengthen
the core activities of the school - teaching and learning.
Travel, accommodation and meal costs directly associated with the
residential courses will be met by the Ministry of Education through
